Since I’m going back to updating it more regularly now, I thought I’d start sharing some of the earlier posts I’d made over here as well. This was really what got me interested in the show, and after watching an episode or two we found it so ridiculous that I started an entire Word Press blog to deep dive into the show and how absolutely terrible it is on every conceivable level. In addition, there’d started to be some people talking about how it’s content was thinly veiled libertarian propaganda. We definitely knew that Paw Patrol was trashy, toyetic, nonsense for a kids’ show, but it we also knew that it has been completely dominating the children’s TV market since it’s release. My fiance is children’s librarian, and we’re both huge fans of other children’s media like Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, and Bluey. During the early part of quarantine in 2020 I decided to start spending the ample time I had on my hands as my job shifted to work from home hate watching Paw Patrol.
